We'll often walk to the park after dinner. It's a little colder, but way less busy. The view from Walter Haas Playground is amazing at dusk. The sun's already hidden behind twin peaks and just the tops of the high-rises are highlighted in gold while the rest of the sky turns violet. It's easy for all of us to forget the time. Then we realize someone needs to get to bed or he'll be a little terror in the morning and we have to coax him down off his favorite slide. If I don't catch him right when he hits the bottom and put him on my shoulders, he'll run up the slide again and the process starts over.
